George, living in London, began riding at the age of 9 having regular lessons at Ealing Riding School. He later took up eventing, competing from 90cm through to intermediate and CCI2* level. After competing for six years George decided to concentrate wholly on dressage and in doing so qualified in regional finals.
George has competed to advanced level on horses that he has produced himself. George has trained for over twelve years with International Grand Prix rider Gareth Hughes and has successfully produced a good number of horses to advanced level as well as helping clients get the most out of their horses.
George runs his own livery yard (Babington Dressage) and spends much of his time teaching and coaching taking all he has learnt over the years, sharing his knowledge in a sympathetic and empathetic way that is always calming and consistent. He teaches in a way that is easily understood and really helps build confidence between horse and rider.
George is very excited to be part of the CROWN training team and is really looking forward to working and sharing his knowledge with our members.
