The Junior & Senior Open Winter Dressage Qualifier is being held at Weston Lawns on Saturday 7th March! This competition is the qualifier for the BRC Winter Dressage Championships on the 24th-26th April 2026 at Arena UK, Grantham. Open to both junior and senior members, tests at Prelim, Novice, Elementary, Medium/Advanced Medium either as an individual or part of a mixed team. You may only enter a maximum of TWO tests on any one horse. Please ensure that you read the eligibility restrictions at each level to ensure that both you and your horse are eligible for the class you wish to enter. If you are unsure of other eligibility, please contact Lucie on lucie@crownriding.co.uk.
Entries are £17.50 each per test You must also be a fully paid member of CROWN to take part and your horse MUST be correctly vaccinated.
For Winter qualifiers and onwards, BRC has introduced a ‘competition pass’ which takes the place of Pre-Entries. To compete and qualify for BRC championships, all entrants must have a valid club membership AND a valid competition pass, which can be purchased via the BRC Sport80 portal. Any member competing at a qualifier without both club membership and a competition pass will be disqualified. The competition passes are £30 plus transaction fee (for riders with 1-2 horses) and £45 plus transaction fee (for riders with 3 or more horses) for a rolling 12 months. Please note, that ALL horses competing must be microchipped. They must also have had an up to date annual flu vaccination but NOT within the 7 days prior to the event.
To enter please log in to your members portal if you wish to enter. Make sure to select the number of classes you wish to do (if you are entering on more than 1 horse) by selecting the correct number of 'spaces' and you MUST include your entry details (rider name, horse name as it appears on the passport and class/es you wish to enter), please make sure that you type the tests you wish to do in the comments box and follow right through to payment.
