The schedule for the first qualifier of the year has just been released and entries are now open for the SEIB Novice Winter Show Jumping Qualifiers at Solihull RC on Sunday 19th February 2023.   Open to junior and senior members at 70cm and 80cm.

Format of the competition:

Each rider will ride two rounds (one outdoors, the second indoors) the first is a slightly smaller round and the second round will be maximum height eg: 80cm will be 75-80cm first round and 80cm-85cm indoors.  The second round will be run as a single phase competition, so the first part of the course will be the second round, followed by the second part of the course which will be classed as the jump-off. The jump-off will follow straight on from the first part of the course without stopping. All team and individual members will go forward to the second part of the second round (jump-off) unless eliminated.


Entry Fees:

Entries are £24 each for the Qualifier classes (this includes your prelim entry to the BRC) or £12 for a points entry (non-qualifier).  Please ensure that you read the eligibility restrictions at each level to ensure that both you and your horse are eligible for the class you wish to enter.  You must be a fully paid member of CROWN to take part and your horse MUST be correctly vaccinated.


VACCINATIONS & MICROCHIPS

Please note, that ALL horses competing must be microchipped.  They must also have up to date annual flu vaccination but must NOT have been vaccinated within the 7 days prior to the event. 


How to Enter

To enter please log in to your members portal if you wish to enter the qualifying class before selecting the Member Price for qualifier classes or if you wish to enter just the point competition, do not log in but select the Non Member Price as a guest.  Make sure to select the number of classes you wish to do (if you are entering on more than 1 horse) by selecting the correct number of 'spaces' and you MUST include your entry details (rider name, horse name as it appears on the passport and class/es you wish to enter) and follow right through to payment.


Team Kit

All riders competing for CROWN are required to wear club team kit.  For this event riders are asked to wear the club saddlecloth which can be purchased from the team at JS Teamwear. Please note that all hats must be up to the current standard (see here for the latest hat rules) and they must all be checked and tagged with the new PINK sticker, which must be done at Secretary's Office on arrival BEFORE you compete.
