We are delighted to say that the entries for the Combined Challenge Qualifier, held at Swalcliffe Park Equestrian, on Sunday 19th March are now open!  This event (organised by yours truly; CROWN RC) sees riders compete over a course of show jumps followed by course of cross country fences all within a grass arena testing the ability and timing of both horse and rider! This qualifier is for the BRC Combined Championships (formerly Festival of the Horse FOTH) at Aston-le-Walls on the 20th and 21st May 2023.

The Area 5 Qualifier is to be held at Swalcliffe Park Equestion on Sunday 18th September with classes open to both juniors and seniors at heights of 70cm, 80cm, 90 and 100cm. For the full schedule please click on the link below:

Entries are £54 each (this includes your prelim entry and start fee) for the qualifying classes or it is just £42.00 (including start fee) for a points entry (you won’t be eligible to qualify). Please note that you now may enter two classes per horse at two consecutive heights (eg: 70 & 80, 80 & 90, 90 &100) but please check the restrictions on the class/es you wish to enter to ensure you and your horse are eligible for the level you wish to compete at, including how many BE points your horse has. You must also be a fully paid member of CROWN to take part and your horse MUST be correctly vaccinated.

Please note, that ALL horses competing must be microchipped.  They must also have up to date annual flu vaccination but must NOT have been vaccinated within the 7 days prior to the event. 

To enter please log in to your members portal if you wish to enter the qualifying class before selecting the Member Price for qualifier classes or if you wish to enter just the point competition, do not log in but select the Non Member Price as a guest and follow right through to payment.  PLEASE NOTE: THESE ENTRIES ARE FOR CROWN MEMBERS ONLY.

All riders competing for CROWN are required to wear club team kit.  For this event riders are asked to wear the team cross country kit of the club base layer and hat silk as well as a the club saddlecloth. All of these items can be purchased from the lovely team at JS Teamwear.
